I got a call from HR for an open position The HR asked me the expected CTC, I mentioned it and she said OK. There were two technical rounds 1 hour each. I cleared those two rounds. Then they arranged the managerial round. The manager asked me 'what is your expected CTC' ? I was shocked to hear this as salary is a confidential thing and should not be discussed with anybody other than HR. I said the same thing to the manager. I also said that I mentioned the salary to HR initially and she was OK with it. But it just awakened the ego of the manager. My managerial interview finished there. And I did not get any call from Xebia. Sometimes I think what kind of egoistic mindset people have in this world. Even if I performed very well in the technical rounds(the interviewers admired me), still my profile got rejected because of the ego of the manager. I know the name of the manager but according to the Glassdoor's policy, I can't write an individual's name here. Dear Xebia, don't just call people to waste their time. May be your time is not precious, but candidates' time is very precious.

I applied through a staffing agency. There were 2 rounds, a technical round for an hour followed by another round with the Management. It took 1 week for the procees.
