I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Wyndham Destinations (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
It is a very nice place. I came in, checked in, they asked me to sit, few minutes later a very nice woman came out greeted me and took me to the back to conduct the interview. The interview was very interesting. I liked the fact that she was transparent and told me everything up front. This turned out to be mostly commission based position. In the beginning you would get a whopping 13 bucks an hour plus any bonuses or commission. This job is to basically sell timeshare to tourists who were attracted by marketing representative that if they come in and sit through a sales presentation, they would get a free gift. She admitted to the fact that most people do come there for a free gift, and it is our job to sell them timeshare. She also admitted several other things to mee that they have a very low close rate and very high turnover rate because people don't last there long. That raised a huge flag for me. You do have potential to make a lot of money, but that will not happen every month and if you don't make sales, your pay will be at 13 an hour. Their pay structure is quite difficult to understand, but I realized it was not for me. It would be very difficult to feed your family if you don't make comission.
