      Senior Product Marketing Manager Interview

      26 Sept 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Wrike (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2017

      Interview

Applied online. Had a brief phone-screen with the recruiter. They asked to see my portfolio, so I sent that over. Moved forward to a longer interview with the hiring manager. He said they'd get back to me with next steps, but nothing.... Wrike just ghosted me. Really unprofessional and inconsiderate.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Send over a portfolio. Very unusual for a PMM.

      Senior Product Marketing Manager Interview

      19 Feb 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Jose, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wrike (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2017

      Interview

Referred by a colleague who now works at Wrike. Phone screen with recruiter went well, but then asked for my portfolio before any onsite interviews (odd). Met with several people, most of them very personable over the course of two in-person visits, Skype with someone in San Diego and phone call with CEO. Then silence. After a couple of weeks recruiting manager responded to my followup, who explained they had filled one of the three positions (the one I was not interested in) but had to regroup on the job description of the others and would "keep me in mind." Indicative of a startup in a crowded market going through some significant growing pains.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wrike (Mountain View, CA) in Mar 2016

      Interview

Phone screen with Recruiter followed by phone screen with Hiring Manager followed by on site interview with four people including the Hiring Manager. After the Recruiter phone screen it took 1-2 days to get the phone screen setup with the Hiring Manager. Very friendly discussions with both the Recruiter and Hiring Manager. I was called for the onsite within a couple of days after the Hiring Manager phone screen. Met with four people including the CMO. Extremely friendly interview and everyone made me feel comfortable during the interview process. The overall process took less than a week including the verbal offer. It was a very positive experience.
