Spoke with a Principal at the BYU Career fair & left my resume with him. I got a call a few weeks later requesting that my wife and I interview in Las Vegas. Brent was adamant that I bring my wife along, because he knew it would be important that she buys in to the proposition of moving down to Las Vegas for work. I was very impressed by that, and his understanding that family comes first. We were very impressed with the office and those that we interacted with. It was just a quick day trip to Vegas with and interview in the morning and lunch with a group of engineers. What was so interesting was my wife was by my side throughout the whole interview process. There were no ridiculous questions thrown in just to watch me squirm and honestly very little was discussed regarding technical knowledge. It just felt like an interview to see if I was a good fit for them and vice versa. On the plane ride home I just still couldn't believe how awesome it all was, but I didn't want to get my hopes up in case they didn't actually offer me the job. Just a week or 2 later however I got an email from them with an offer & I was ecstatic.
