I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wpromote, LLC (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
The interview process with Wpromote included three separate interviews over the span of two months. The first interview was with HR, the second interview the department directors, and third interview was with the general manager. Each interview was conversational and comfortable. They reviewed my skills and personality to make sure I would be a good fit.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Wpromote, LLC (El Segundo, CA) in Mar 2015
Interview
I received an email to schedule a standard phone interview. It went well and then I was told I would be contacted by them by the end of the week to see if they would interview me at the office in El Segundo. I did not receive an email or call, so after a full week I sent an email to the person I interviewed with and did not receive a response. I sent another email another full week later and finally got a response with apologies and got scheduled for a one-on-one interview in El Segundo.
The interview went really well. The interviewer asked me about my experience with SEO and how comfortable I am with it. My interviewer also asked about my current work on SEO at the company I work for and some more technical questions about SEO. Most of the interview was about the benefits of working with the company and how my language skills, I speak more then three languages, could be beneficial for them as they start to work with companies overseas and asked about my interest in working with them on that. The interviewer did not know how the hiring process worked but said I should be contacted by the end of the week.
I sent out follow up emails after the interview and thank you cards to the people I talked with during the interview process. The week passed, and I did not receive any notification from them. I sent a follow up email two weeks later to see if I could get some sort of notification about where I was in the process, but again no response. After another full week I called the person I phone interviewed with in HR and they were not able to tell me about the status of my application because it was confidential. I was then told that they did not necessarily interview according to need, but according to what they may possibly need in the future. Granted, I've seen job postings for this same position over the last two months and have seen people being hired according to Glassdoor interview recaps. The individual I was talking with said they would check on my status and email me about it as soon as possible. That was over a month ago and I still haven't received anything from their side.
I'm really disappointed with the way in which the hiring process was conducted by Wpromote. It seems like a great company to work with according to the reviews and the people I had the opportunity to talk with. I'm disappointed with the hiring process and the amount of time I had to put into it, especially towards the end.

Submitted my resume and received a follow-up email within one day. From there it was a standard phone interview with HR. A few days later they called me in to meet with a few Sr Analysts. Overall the interview process was great and very efficient! All interviewees were very personable as well and spoke highly of the company culture.
