After applying, got a link to do a recorded interview and about a month from there, got an invite to the actual interview which was done by 4 staff members from WMO across several teams

The process was suspicious. I was invited to an interview but was given a specific date and time, while also being told that the slot was non-negotiable. As it so happened, that slot was clashed with a professional commitment so I had to push back. Eventually they relented. After the interview I was informed that I would be informed of the outcome within two weeks - unheard of for a UN staff position. And of course, I never heard back. I followed up with the manager - no response. I did a bit of research and found that the post went to an insider... a total waste of time and unprofessional.
