Interview
I applied online and was contacted through e-mail a day later, asking to call the store. The manager and I planned the interview for Friday at 3pm; I made sure to be 10 minutes early. The interview was very brief, about 15-20 minutes. She was really friendly and down-to-earth which made the whole experience less stressful for me. The questions were pretty simple and straight forward.

Describe yourself as if I know nothing about you and we're meeting for the first time.
Easy! Was professional, engaging, and made the experience comfortable. They asked insightful questions, actively listened, and provided clear insights about the role. I left feeling motivated and excited about the opportunity
The process started with a relaxed group interview conducted by two different managers. Typical interview questions were asked such as "What makes you qualified for this position?", "Why are you interested in Cost Plus?", etc. Follow-up individual interview with GM after the group interview and was offered the job on the spot. Managers made the process very comfortable and relaxed compared to other interviews.

Interview
My manager was really kind and personable. She showed me around the store and explained the job thoroughly after the initial introduction. It was the least nerve-wracking interview I've ever had.
