I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at World Bank Group (Washington, DC) in Jan 2015
Interview
You'll interview with lots of different people, sometimes individually, sometimes with panels, sometimes by video conference, sometimes by phone, sometimes across time zones, including other side of the world, which means you may need to interview when its dark out either early morning or late at night. Questions can be skills based, teamwork based, diversity issues, etc
The recruitment process consisted of a written exercise followed by a panel interview. Overall, the process was relatively efficient, especially considering it was conducted by an international organisation, where such procedures can often take longer.
