I applied online. I interviewed at Women Deliver (New York, NY)
Interview
3 rounds + written test. First HR, then panel interview with 3 team members, some technical some behavioral questions. then final with Director of division, again technical and behavioral, felt more like a conversation to assess fit.

Interview
Disappointing. Each round is with a member of the team. Not panel style. One on one.
I was extremely disappointed with my interview with Women Deliver. I had a lot of respect for the organization until I was 'ghosted' after my first interview.
I did not get a response for my thank you email nor my follow up email. For an organization that prides it self on pillars of women, empowerment, development, inclusion and championing- I expected that they would conduct a more inclusive interview process.
One white-what seemed to be cis-individual-was in charge of round one and the interview was not structured nor warm. I was unclear where the questions were in the conversation. I have been in this field for many years and unfortunately this was the most awkward interview I have ever had based on the interviewer.
I love Women Deliver and the work that they do but the interview felt very unwelcoming. I was really disappointed. Would have liked to actually interview with the team/staff that the position works with for interview 1.
Questions were not very clear. Would like to receive acknowledgment of my email or a rejection email. This field is small and the likelihood of working together in some kind of capacity is great. Wanted to see more professionalism in the process.
Suggestions: Panel style interviews allow for a more inclusive selection process. Respond to candidates if only a short thanks but no thanks. When designing HR processes keep organization mission in-line with internal works instead of just trying to get it done. Have standard questions and take some kind of notes during interview.
Not getting a second interview was a bummer but I was mostly disappointed in loosing my confidence in an organization I had so much respect for.
