Screening with the recruiter, then a 1 hour call with the hiring manager: a very cold, weird and mechanical conversation, full of STAR method questions. The interviewer had clearly already formed their opinion and verdict at the start of the call, and made no effort to engage, only to confirm their own biases. The feedback was predictable: bland and generic. After a lot of chasing, their feedback was about my lack of experience working in big companies (which contradicts what the same person had said publicly at a design event). One thing became clear to me: Wise is not interested in innovation, but in people who can be robotic, cold and corporately unkind, and probably a terrible place to work.
