Interview
A phone screen and then a two hour long interview with 3 engineers. Alternate option was to go in person. Luckily an HR person meets with you first and explains the benefits beforehand. Hearing the benefits offered at the beginning (really bad compared to the majority of engineering companies), I became mentally checked out of the whole interview process. Two of the engineers that interviewed me seemed like they did not want to be there. Pretty bad interview experience and not worth it for what they were offering.
They placed me with a Software Engineer for part of the interview. My software knowledge is there, but not strong, and that was conveyed to the Talent Acquisition. Still, they proceeded with this and I was not aware of this until the interview began. I still did my best to answer all their questions. When I returned, and sent the travel reimbursement form, I was ghosted by the person responsible for handling it and never received any reimbursement. A few weeks later, they informed me they were not moving forward. The process was great up until that very point.
