I applied online. I interviewed at Whitewall Galleries (Birmingham, England) in May 2023
Interview
Extensive multi stage interview process with the logistical and costly inconvenience of attending Birmingham head quarters. Initial interviews were remote, but not a process I’d care to repeat, it felt like 7 interviews just for a sales consultant role.

Question 1
One the spot question about how to sell a painting on the wall.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whitewall Galleries (Leeds, England) in Oct 2020
Interview
Interview was informal, friendly, but having waited 4 days to hear whether or not I had made it through to the next stage, the email response was very generic. This was pretty disappointing as I had no constructive feedback as to why I didn't get the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whitewall Galleries (Lichfield, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
Firstly an informal chat over the phone, then a skype interview based on the company and the artists they represent, then a face to face at HQ in Lichfield with my recruiter, area manager and CEO and finally an informal meet with my gallery manager.
The whole process is super positive and supportive. Quite lengthy but also beneficial because you get to meet all of your potential senior management. My recruiter made me feel at ease and let me take my time to think about the competency based questions. Expect to describe a few paintings using artistic language. I wasn't quite prepared for Helen the CEO but she was super positive and inspiring. I really got a family feeling from the company who show they care and want you to do well.
