Weta Digital Simulation Senior Software Engineer interview questions

Very informal. It consisted basically of a friendly chat with three group leaders/managers. The tone was light and very constructive. They were interested in the amount and type of work experience and asked a couple of pointed questions about my skills. There was no technical aspect to the interview -no showing of past work or any testing whatsoever. After the interview, I was asked to submit 3 references for Weta HR to check. About two weeks laters, I was told that I would not be getting an offer. I asked for feedback but received no information. Disappointing end to an otherwise friendly, positive experience.
