An exercise in time-wasting. Probably the most abysmal application process I have seen, especially considering the pay and contract are relatively poor compared to other comparable positions. Here's what you need before either getting an interview or outright rejection with no interview.
1. Numerous forms that detail what's already on your CV, your expected living conditions, what classes you would teach, etc.
2. Three references. One of which needs to be a current employer, which is an ill-advised and bone-headed requirement on their part.
3. A copy of your passport, transcripts, and degrees.
4. A passport quality photo that must be in a suit.
5. A lesson plan following their provided format and topic along with an accompanying PowerPoint for a sample lesson.
Mind you, they could potentially forget which step of the application you are on, pushing the process back weeks with little communication.
Do all that and you can get a rejection prior to any interview.
