Interview
Interviewer looked like he didn't care at all about what I was saying - was asking prepared questions, didn't know anything about the role they were offering - don't think they've ever smiled during a 30minutes call.

Interview
Recruiter round followed by hiring manager round centered towards a problem statement. I answered the question and got a good feedback. Did not move to next round. The problem statement was vaguely defined.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself. Why do you want to leave your current role ?
The HR rep showed up late and did not turn on her camera, although it was supposed to be a video call, so it felt like one-way communication. She only asked a few questions and showed little enthusiasm, and the interview ended in about 15 minutes, even though it was scheduled for 30 minutes. When I asked questions, her responses were unclear, and she seemed unfamiliar with the role and the operations in Hong Kong. For example, she refused to answer my question about the salary range, which was a bit odd, and only gave reluctant yes-or-no responses when I shared my expectations. The HR was calling from the Philippines, so I’m not sure if the process is outsourced. Overall, it was a very unprofessional and disappointing experience.
