I applied online. I interviewed at Wendy's (Portland, OR) in Jun 2019
Interview
The first two interviews were short, but the managers were likeable and professional. I was told I was being hired, but I needed a SS card first, and to call when I got it. I called, but there was now a new manager there. We scheduled a time for me to bring documents in. I had to reschedule for an immediate dental appt. Called and told her ahead of time. She got an attitude, and just stopped responding. Tried to email her, and call, no response. She was very rude as well to a family friend who applied there. So, I was told I was being hired by two separate managers, two separate interviews, but had to reschedule once for a dentist appt and she just went A Wall. So bad experience over all.
Standard fast food interview. Gave experience, asked about availability, nothing really too special. Real easy interview. Its just fast food, so not exactly a hardball interview asking about Excel, advanced degrees, etc. The place seemed clean and interview was on time.
Interview was in the dining room of the restaurant, included being walked around store and being introduced to other crew members and given worker's authorization papers. Very low stress, asked about hobbies.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Wendy's (Mendoza) in May 2026
