I applied online. I interviewed at Websites Depot (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2016
Interview
I showed up at their Sunset Blvd offices on-time and took a seat in their non-air conditioned reception area (I don't mean to whine, but it was 97º out); the nice receptionist offered me a water, asked me to fill out an application (even though they already had my thorough resume) and told me "Danny" would meet with me in a moment. The reception area was also packed with three "developers" whom I noticed also appeared to be doing project management over the phone with clients.
I had previously applied in March, but they wanted to schedule an interview the following day - a Saturday - but I was already heading out of town; they apparently filled that position in the meantime. The offer is for "$600 a week", which is pretty paltry considering their web devs appear to be doing customer support, in addition to building websites. Whatever these guys are doing, it's earned this business a <cough>non-suspect</cough> 24 out of 25 five-star ratings on their Google review.
After waiting in the reception area for over 30 minutes, I asked the receptionist to tell the interviewer to reschedule. This disregard for a new hire's time/appointment was a pretty clear indication of what was to come ..
