I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at WeWork (Washington, DC) in Sept 2017
Interview
I applied through a referral and it took a while for the interview process to get started or to even hear back at all. The HR person was really hard to reach sometimes throughout the process. I interviewed with a manager over the phone and I found out later the position was filled. I later noticed there were more positions posted so I emailed HR again and was invited into the office this time to interview with the same person I previously interviewed with (not sure if this was by accident or not). Both interviews with him were relaxed conversations with a bit more creative then normal interview questions. There are different types of managers, so since I expressed interest in more than one (two different types were open at the time), he had me sell him the space and then gave me feedback. My referral told me the process and I had knew I had another round of interviews with the Eastern Hub director, but after not hearing back, I had to reach back out to HR to determine next steps. They simply told me they went with someone else for the position. When I asked for feedback and interest in the other position I knew was open, I never received any reply. You have to be very connected with those working there and persistent with the interview process and people behind it.

The interview process is very long and time taking and it takes about 2-3 months to get completed. They have about 5-7 interview rounds hierarchy wise starting from the direct manager or colleague to the top management
