I interviewed at Wazo Furniture (Montreal, QC) in Jan 2020
Interview
The process involved an initial screening call to discuss my background and interest in the role, followed by a technical interview focused on market trends, negotiation strategies, and supplier management. Finally, there was a case study presentation where I analyzed a hypothetical scenario to showcase decision-making skills. Overall, the process was structured, insightful, and aimed at understanding both expertise and cultural fit

Question 1

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wazo Furniture (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2021
Interview
Wazo is looking for someone who will work unpaid overtime. I had two phone interviews with them. Things seemed to be going well. In the second interview the marketing manager asked what my expectations were regarding work life balance and that a lot of late nights and long hours would be required, was I ok with that? I said that would be a question of overtime compensation. I followed up by email and told them I'd be happy to work long/late hours but that I'd either want to be brought on hourly depending on their overtime policy or at a higher salary than we'd originally discussed. They ghosted me. Didn't even provide me the courtesy of telling me whether I was still being considered or not when I followed up again and asked. I get that some folks are desperate, but if you have options, pass on this company. They're looking for suckers to take advantage of and overwork.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wazo Furniture (Montreal, QC) in Jul 2017
Interview
I applied online, went to search the company information. I later got a call from the company. Interview was scheduled for half hr in person. It went well, at the end the manager showed me around the warehouse to show me the different furniture especially the exotic wood tables and benches they have, very beautiful stuffs. I find it was not very hard, they are looking for young people with energy and good attitude, I know I have what it takes.
