I was contacted via LinkedIn by Waymo's recruiters (Nelson). I had a phone interview with the Nelson representative. He then sent my resume to Waymo and scheduled me interview with one of the managers.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Waymo
Interview
First round of interview consists of theoretical situations with self-driving cars. You'll need a pen and paper to visualize the scenario. You also need to be knowledgeable about traffic rules and a driver's license is a plus.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Waymo
Interview
2 rounds of interview. One kinematics. One Scenario. One Weird question involving animals. Only two basic behavioural questions. Made me wait for a long time for the 2nd interview after my first interview. I did perfect in the kinematics question. But maybe my scenario or wierd animals question was not upto par with their answers. Just do this interview only if you are not getting any other interviews, pay is super low too, otherwise it wasted my time. The only benefit of this position is since you would have Waymo on your resume, which used to be affiliated with Google, It would be great on your resume, other than that you can find better paying jobs.
