The Interview was easy pretty easy. Talk with recruiter, online coding assessment, and just one phone interview. It was quick and the problems were easier compared to other tech companies.
I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Ann Arbor, MI) in Oct 2014
Interview
After submitting my resume online via my school's career site I was contacted by them in order to have a skype interview. Following my skype interview I was called and given an offer with a couple weeks to make a decision. I asked for an extension and they were very kind and gave it to me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
OOP questions along with some coding technical questions and ones relating specifically to the web.
A coding challenge, followed by a video interview and finally an onsite interview. The coding challenge wasn't too bad. For the video interview, a few questions about myself were asked and then there was another coding problem, which wasn't too bad. The onsite was similar to the video interview, questions about myself and another coding interview. Staff was friendly. I should note the internship was cancelled due to COVID-19, but the overall interview process was good.
