Initially contacted by company on LinkedIn, followed by:
1) a screening call
2) a video call interview, describing both the company and the role and asking some basic physics (optics) questions
3) two questions to be solved at home (one optics, one short programming task)
4) a final, on-site series of mini-interviews, describing the role and the company. One of these was, again, some physics/optics questions and the other was programming related. Both occasionally enquired about some of the previous work I had listed on my CV.
Communication all throughout the process was amazing, with quick movement through the above stages and very fast and complete replies to all emails and queries.
The people present at all my interviews were very friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. They also took interest in knowing me as a person, not just assessing my technical capabilities.
