Was contacted by HR for screening call, recruitment contact was lovely to speak with, very informative and answered all of my questions and concerns in detail. Was invited for 2nd round with the hiring manager and then the last round with the rest of the team. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Overall, the interviewing process was positive and I really appreciate how supportive everyone was.

I didn't receive the initial email and the recruiter followed up with me which was a nice touch. Arranged a call. The interviewer called late and didn't mention it, I'm not sure whether other people were listening in, nobody was introduced but I could hear background noise that suggested the interviewer wasn't alone on the call. Unfortunately, they used a bad speakerphone / polycom and it was very muffled, like the interviewer was talking through cotton wool. It was hard to make out what was being said, which I pointed out a few times. I could hear every few words and guessed what most of the questions were and I said things like "sorry, it's hard to hear you but if you're asking me [this] then..." and answered as best I could. It wasn't the line that was bad but the device they were calling from so asking to callback would have been futile, we ploughed on regardless. At the end of the call, the interviewer was a little brusque and hung up quickly. I followed up with an email saying that I had difficulty hearing the questions and asked if they needed further information. I didn't receive a response to my email but received a separate email advising that they were going with someone who was a better fit. I have the required experience and would have been pleased to elaborate had I been able to hear the questions! It's a shame because they look like a great company to work for.
