      Business Analyst Interview

      20 Oct 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Houston, TX
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waukesha-Pearce (Houston, TX) in Oct 2018

      Interview

Hiring process requires several interviews over several days meeting lots of people. If you pass the interview process and answer all the technical questions correctly and land the job, don’t rest easy, the interview process continues AFTER your hired! On your first day on the job you’re giving a chair, no paper, pen, phone, or work area. Instead, you roll your chair into a cubicle with a coworker who will begin testing you. Testing NOT training. You will be asked questions, solve problems, and given test assignments.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

On one test assignment, I was giving sheet of paper with 10 SQL query problems to solve. Then I was directed to a SQL website to work out the problems. After working out all the problems correctly you get an assessment. I was shocked to find out answering all the problems correctly was the Minimum requirement. You are expected to review all 10 questions First, then you need to build SQL code that will encompass more than one question.
