I applied through university. I interviewed at Water Works Engineers (Scottsdale, AZ) in Feb 2026
Interview
Interviewed with a senior project manager who wanted to see demonstrated ability or technical ability. I had to explain a classroom topic like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, research specific, chemistry, design project, etc.. The interview was honestly fun since we joked and I got to learn from the manager when I explained that I didn’t remember or didn’t learn that in class. The manager explained a bit about the company and asked me about a specific topic he pulled from my resume that I should have experience in, but otherwise I drove the interview by asking a ton of questions. Overall good experience, but the most in depth intern interview I had since they normally don’t expect you to know anything.
