I applied in-person. I interviewed at Warren Barr Pavillion (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2016
Interview
It was brief and to the point a lot of questions about elderly people. And he you feel about them how you treat them.and things you would do to help them.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Warren Barr Pavillion
Interview
I visited the website and filled out an employment inquiry with a brief message. The director of HR e-mailed me back almost immediately and sent me a link to create a profile and attach my resume (super fast, did not have to fill out a giant application). The following day I received a call from the HR director for the facility that had an opening, and he asked to set up an interview for that same week. I went in and had to fill out an extensive application on paper. I can't remember the last time I didn't fill out an application on-line. I met with the Director of Nursing, who was amazing and laid back. I was then taken to meet with the Administrator and Assistant Administrator, for a repeat conversation I had with the DON. She stated I would hear back by the end of the week. The HR director called 2 days later with the offer and asked if I could attend orientation the following day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All were pretty straight-forward. No surprises. Just think before you speak. "Why should we hire you" and "what do you think your greatest challenge will be here" were 2 questions that stuck out the most.
