A phone conversation with an HR specialist went well. I discussed my resume, answered experience-related questions, and asked my own.
Then, a second interview with two managers: a potential supervisor, and lead from a related department. I confidently answered all their questions and their responses were mainly affirmations ("yes," "correct," etc.).
However, I wasn't invited to the third stage (a test task) due to a perceived "lack of experience in financial modeling", despite discussing it extensively and receiving positive confirmations during the second interview on every single point. I suspect the final decision likely reflected a lack of personal fit for the specific role.
