Very chill, was just by the store manager about how long I wanted to work and if I am willing the put in the effort to learn the process. Nothing technical because I assume they really needed help
Asked a couple basic behavioral questions over your past experiences and how it fits towards working at Walgreens. They then ask for your availability and the expectations for the work you're gonna be doing.

Question 1
When was a time where you were able to help someone over disagreements?
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Louisville, KY) in Mar 2025
Interview
Going in with no prior experience as a pharmacy tech and no prior experience in any related field. Interview lasted about 20 minutes. Pharmacy manager and her boss both interviewed me at the same time. Both had packets with a list of pre-written questions which they would select from, ask me, and then write notes on my responses. I was also told that if a question was too difficult, I could request a different question.
Questions I was asked: "How do you handle conflicts in the workplace?" "Describe a time when you made a coworker or customer feel special." "Describe a time when you had to present a range of perspectives." This last question was pretty specific and kind of odd. I took a moment to think and came up with something that was good enough.
They spent the rest of the interview telling me about the job and answering my questions, which I had written down beforehand in a notebook that I brought along. I asked them about insurance, benefits, PTO and opportunities for skill development and/or promotions in the future. They answered all my questions and I took notes on their responses.
I definitely felt put on the spot by some of the questions and had to think on my feet, but the interview was conducted very professionally. I'm glad I prepared beforehand by thinking back on my experiences at my previous job. Definitely use the SBO method (situation, behavior, outcome) to prepare - Walgreens recommends this in "interview prep" material that they offer to interviewees beforehand.
