I applied online. I interviewed at Waldemar S. Nelson and Company (New Orleans, LA) in Apr 2019
Interview
I have the utmost respect the business an people at Nelson. Throughout the interview I felt that this was a company I could trust and offers opportunity for those willing to earn it.
The interview wasn’t very long, however the VP of Nelson was fully engaged for the full duration. I’ve been on many interviews and must say it is rare that a VP ever sits down with potential hires, much less set everything aside ignoring the fact that that I was an entry level engineer. It says a lot about the leadership of a team when the VP interviews and hand selects new hires. There's no better evidence of a person's values than how he or she allocates time.

Interview
It was a routine phone call, with nothing out of the ordinary, just some general questions being asked—more questions about experience in a previous place. No specific questions about, nno tests for deep understanding.
