The interview was arranged through a head-hunting recruitment firm for the role of T&C Engineer. Subsequently, HR sent the meeting invite to the Project Engineer. I called up, and HR explained that the engineering roles in Wah Loon are all referred to as Project Engineer. Checked-in with the recruitment agency again, and they reassured me it was for the Testing and Commissioning Engineer position. And so I attended the interview to find out more. No HR personnel was present during the interview, just me and the hiring manager. After clarification of the mix-up, the hiring manager proceeded with the discussion and the available positions. He determined it was to be a T&C Engineer under him. The interview ended cordially. Two weeks later, HR called up and offered the Project Engineer the maximum 4.8k basic salary. the clarification for the offer continued for four weeks, and ultimately, Wah Loon disappeared from the end of their line.
