The interview process in my eyes, was quite long and not well co-ordinated. I applied online and then received an e-mail from a talent acquisition person who informed me I was successful with the initial screening and that they would be in touch about the next stage of the process.
One week later I got a call, the lady seemed pleasant enough - talked me through the details etc. All was fine.
My first stage interview went very well. I met with two people (team manager and line manager) and they seemed relaxed, were able to laugh and really got across the culture of the team, I feel I built a good rapport and the actual interview lasted around 1 hour. I then had 3 tests to do, and given 45 minutes - they were fairly easy and consisted of data entry, work prioritisation and proof reading.
A week later I received feedback; they liked me, and I passed the tests with flying colours. They wanted me to come in again for the final stage.
I met with two other people from the team - again they seemed nice and I felt that I built a good rapport with them- it was at this stage that I found out that I was the only candidate to make it this far and that the following week they would be seeing another candidate for the first stage
A week or so later I got a call to say I was unsuccessful because they thought I am too ambitious and would get bored in no time and leave.
