      Graduate Engineer, Rail Interview

      11 Dec 2015
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at WSP (London, England) in Mar 2015

      Interview

One day assessment centre. Around 18 people that applied for different roles (Project manager, mechanical engineer, etc). A presentation of the rail industry and the role of Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff) have been given. We were divided into 3 groups according to role we applied for. It was asked to prepare a presentation on how to meet rail demand in the following years. 30 mins were given to prepare the presentation. After that, we had lunch. Good opportunity to talk with senior managers. Then, we were divided in two groups: one going to take the interview, while the other one was taking numerical and verbal reasoning tests.

      Interview questions [1]
