I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at WSP (Newcastle, England) in Apr 2015
Interview
It is a long interview at the Graduate Assessment centre at Newcastle. The interviewers were very friendly and professional. There was an ice breaker session where we had to make a little poster about ourselves. This was followed by a discussion within a group of 6 members about the future of clean energy. There were aptitude tests throughout the day - Numerical and verbal reasoning type questions. This was followed by a technical interview of basic questions: voltage levels in the uk, explain why we use AC current instead of DC current, distributed generation etc.

The interview process started with an online AI video interview. Candidates were invited to complete a HireVue-style assessment where prerecorded questions were presented and responses had to be recorded using the webcam. Each question allowed a short preparation time followed by a timed response. The questions focused on behavioural experiences, motivation for the role, and interest in the energy sector. The process was straightforward and took around 20–30 minutes to complete.
