The initial interview with the hiring manager was conversational and experienced, giving me high hopes for this team dynamic. Especially since the UX manager, stated that they believe in team culture. I was able to explain my background, learn about WEX, the structure and the team. However, the next interview was truly an inexperienced joke. The two team members seemed incredibly uninterested, one of which with an ego that could barely fit into the zoom screen. I was cut off mid presentation “for the sake of time” 5 mins before the allotted time given to me. Additionally, they did not ask me a single question about what I presented. It mainly consisted of grilling me on if I’d be able to/ok with being tossed around or given an inadequate amount of details to do my job… Red flag flying high. I’d avoid this UX team if you value a professional experience!
