The reviewer of the test assignment was not aware that people who are not employed don't have access to market analysis tools, as they cost a lot. Therefore, the test assignment was characterized as being too much based on personal assumptions and ad libraries (but what is an alternative?). When I confronted HR with this in the feedback session, I received the reply that the company tried to give access to the candidates, but due to technical reasons, it didn't work out. I personally can not see how this answers the criticism.
