Straightforward/standard, nothing ridiculous.
received email from recruiter who had a couple followup questions, then we scheduled a phone interview
R1: Recruiter, via phone for 30 minutes
R2: SME, via phone, for 30 minutes
In Person, each 30ish minutes:
R3: Chief of Staff
R4: CEO
Offer made same week
Unprofessional and disorganized. The second interviewer showed up late over for a phone interview. When the second one did, he was in his car and left the interview before it was over. They do not know the growing industry in the area.

Question 1
What would you do if an employee would not show up for work?
Not the most organized from my experience, but the interviews themselves were pretty standard: phone chat/screen, technical interview, and an onsite. Phone screen was fine, basically just seeing if I was interested and if the logistics were a good fit (salary, location, role, etc). Technical interview was one of the more fun ones, I appreciated that it was basically something to have fun with so you can show how you think and write code (more on that below). Onsite was less stressful than most, as it was less a gauntlet of technical interviews and more of a wholistic approach where I met most of the team and the questions were focused on my prior work and what I liked. Still with some technical questions, of course, but about my own past projects, which I felt gave me a better opportunity to show what my skillset was. After that, there were still some communication confusions, but it's a startup so that wasn't new to me.
Word of advice though, if you are interested in working here, be vocal about questions and check in when you're unsure or need clarification. It's not an excuse, but they typically have a lot going on and things fall through the cracks. Hopefully as they grow, this will be resolved and those after me will have a 100% pleasant experience!

Question 1
Most were actually fairly specific to my own background, but the technical interview had to do with implementing a popular board game ;)
