I applied online. I interviewed at VitusVet in Jan 2021
Interview
I was contacted by the hiring manager himself to interview right away. Had three different interviews with numerous people within the next 2 weeks. On wed, he said they would have a decision by eod friday and get back to me on Monday. It has been three weeks ,and numerous status check emails from me, and nothing. No email responses, no phone calls, nothing. Why do companies do this? At least follow up and say that they chose someone else or that the position got cancelled. Wasted 3 weeks of my life "waiting" only to hear NOTHING.

Question 1
Numerous technical questions that I seemed to have well versed responses for.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VitusVet (New York, NY) in Feb 2019
Interview
Torn between thinking they are just fake, insincere people that just say what they think someone wants to hear and just being incompetent. Innocently applied and heard nothing for weeks. Even recruiting companies like CyberCoders called me about them. Eventually I get a random message on LinkedIn from the CTO which I replied to. Days go by and I hear nothing again. Randomly I then receive a phone call and voice mail from the CTO wanting to discuss the opportunity. Since I have a full time job, I emailed in an attempt to professionally schedule a time to talk. After 2-3 days of receiving 0 response I followed up via LinkedIn asking once again if he would like to talk. He replied almost instanteously, seems apologetic and we setup a phone call for the next morning. Overall the call was fine and I asked if I should come in for a face to face interview. The CTO seemed interested in meeting with me and we scheduled a 12 pm meeting for Friday and he said he would follow up with a confirmation email with their address. After waiting a full day and never receiving the confirmation email I expected within a few hours of talking to him, I once again had to take the initiative to follow up and try to verify our interview. Finally Thursday evening or the night before the scheduled interview I received confirmation. The same trend of bate, switch and disappear happened after the face to face interview. The interview itself was fine and at the surface everyone I met was nice and professional. I was asked if I wanted to proceed to an offer and I was asked if he (the CTO) should call me this evening or next Monday. I said to give me a call on Monday so we could discuss future steps. As I always do, I sent a thank you email on Friday evening. Fast forward to the next week, Monday came and went and I received communication at all. No phone call, no email nothing. On Tuesday evening I followed up and never heard a thing back. Don't waste your time with this place.

Question 1
We talked about many productive things but it's not relevant given it clearly wasn't even a real interview.
