This was red-flag central. First and foremost, Visionspring changed the title and salary range of the position I applied for AFTER I was scheduled for an interview, which itself was rescheduled four times. If Im to give credit, I give credit to the hiring manager for being honest and transparent, but they used phrases such as "you will be micromanaged" and "your schedule has to be flexible". In the later-stages of the three hour interview, it was mentioned that in a company that has existed for 25 years the longest tenured member of their marketing team had only been there for five. "Attrition" and "we're trying to create a sound foundation" were said and clearly werent the hiring manager's fault, but neither are terms you should hear at a place you interview for.
Insult to injury is once you move to the 'second phase', you're asked to prove your skillset by putting together content in a three-hour "exercise" that i'd guarantee ends in work they use regardless of whether or not you get the job.
The only good thing I can say is the concept of what the company does is a worthwhile cause, but it's not worth what they're going to do to you. Avoid until they get it together and figure out how to treat their employees.
