There are four steps in the recruitment process:
1. There was a on-line test which had questions related to OOPS,DBMS,OS, etc. and there was one programming question , which was to be coded in JAVA only.
2.Then there was a logical Group Discussion i.e. we were given a problem statement, 2-3 alternatives were provided along with the corresponding constraints respectively.We had to choose the best way possible among the given options.I was in a group of 13 members, It was fairly conducted, everybody was given a chance to speak.
3. Next was the technical interview, we were asked questions from JAVA like what is JDBC, what is a driver, is it an interface or a class, basic questions from data structures,etc. Also a lot of questions were asked form what projects have you made till date, industrial training,etc.
4. The final step was the HR interview,the company's representative asked questions like tell me about yourself, what do you want from us,where do you see yourself after 5 years,your family background, why Virtusa,etc.
