As mentioned in many reviews, the company is a chaos at least in Calgary office. Scheduled a interview and ended up the interviewer did not call. Rescheduled a very early time point 7：30 am. This time interviewer did call however no apologies just like nothing happened.
It was weird. They asked a series of math questions but did not ask any other questions about my qualifications or anything else of that nature. They just wanted the answers to those questions to know if I could do basic math

Was called on the phone the day after my application. We scheduled a phone interview one week from there. The interview took aprox 30 min and was very similar to other posts here.
NO personal questions at all, no geophysics questions either.
2 basic math questions. If it wouldn't have been for the other posts here I would have never been able to solve them ( it's been more almost 10 years since my basic math courses). Also, you're not allowed to use calculator.

1) Unfair coin with probability of getting head less than 1/2, if we flip this coin 6 times the probability of getting 3 heads and 3 tails is 4/25. what is the probability of getting head for this coin.
2) Arithmetic serie: a,9,3a-b,3a+b .. find F(2020) . They key is that an arithmetic serie is defined by the difference between 2 consecutive terms is the same ( I didn't know/remembered, the interviewer reminded me of that)

The interviewer just called to ask 2 high school math questions based on probability of coin flip and geometric progression with surds. Not easy to solve if you are not in touch.
They don't care about your recent qualifications. Why not hire during high school?
It sounds like he was very patient during the phone call. When I didn't get the answers right he was eager to hang up the phone.
