The interview process consisted of three stages: 1. HR interview, 2. Interview with a Director the role was directly reporting to, 3. With a CxO 1. The interview with HR was basic, including questions about the motivation to apply for VinFast, a background experience check, and the remuneration package requested. The HR team provided information about the potential offer package 2. Interview with the Director lasted about 30 mins. Very basic interview about previous experience and methodologies of tackling basic product management tasks. 3. Interview with CxO last 30 mins and included questions about previous experience, how would some challenges around product management be tackled, etc. - very similar to the 2nd interview Overall, a very bizarre experience. The communication about setting up the interviews was conducted via WhatsApp. It was highly rushed (i.e. setting up interviews with HR and the Director within the same day of the request). There was no time for preparation for the interviews and no flexibility from the HR side when I had no availability. Interviews with Director and CxO were extremely basic and only lasted half an hour - I have never had a proper interview conducted in just 30 mins. Last but not least, CxO just appeared on the call and didn't even introduce himself, a topic I found highly unprofessional. The process lasted approx. 3 weeks. I received an offer from the company which didn't match the initially discussed package with HR. Less than 24h were given initially for deciding on the job offer - 48h were given after negotiating the time for offer consideration. The terms of the offer were extremely unreasonable - the starting date was within 15 days. Within this time, I was expected to accept the offer, figure out a way to initiate and support my VISA application, quit my current role, entirely relocate from Europe to Vietnam, and be ready to start work at the end of the 15-day time.
