I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret in Sept 2011
Interview
I was informed that the store was hiring at the time i submitted my application. Within a couple days I had been called back to schedule an interview. The initial interview could be individual or as a group depending on how many associates the store is looking to hire. The traditional questions are asked of the group. Within 2 days I had a call back to schedule a second interview which was very short and at which point you are very likely to be offered a position.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
