I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
I walked in the store and said that I always wanted to work for the company and that I like VS products so so greatly. I gave my application to the manager and she said that I can come next week for the interview. Which was like 30 min long about my experience and personality. After that I had another interview with a different manager basically the same range of questions. After they checked my references I was hired.
They really want somebody with a huge amount of passion for Victoria's Secret, with outgoing personality and great references.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
