Interview
1.) TThe tech recruiter contacted me over LinkedIn and requested a brief Zoom meeting at my convenience. She told me about the company and its history. Then we went over our work responsibilities and mentioned that this is an in-person position in California, and I was asked several technical questions as part of the technical screening, such as how to explain DHCP, ARP, and HTTPS.
2. They stated that we would continue with the application process after the initial screening and move on to the technical round in an hour. I spoke on zoom with one of their L2 support engineers about my experiences and my approach to troubleshooting.
3. With their support director, the third round of interview session is much more technical. I'm being evaluated on my problem-solving abilities once more, so don't make up any fake scenarios. The call went smoothly, but for some reason, I was turned down here. I'm doubtful of the level of experience they are expecting from recent graduates.
4. On-site interview make up the fourth round. In this round, according to HR, they would fly us to their location, where senior management would spend two days evaluating our technical skills and conducting some behavioral rounds.

Interview
Only had the first round of interviews so far which went really well. The hiring recruiter was very nice and easy to talk to. I was informed during this interview that I will move to the next interview which I am very excited for.

Question 1
They asked about my interest with Verkada and my background.
Everything was explained beforehand, no surprise. The whole process was very clear, very detailed. The goal is not to trick you, but to test you in a normal environment. It’s a 4 round process, the last one is onsite. Everyone is really nice and welcoming.
Yeah, the screening was very easy. Just asked why I am interested and what I want to do in the future of my life. I have not done the tech interview I am filling this out so I can see what other people say. I hope I do well!!
