Interview
I was contacted by a linkedin recruiter for this position. The recruiter then scheduled a one hour zoom meeting interview. This interview was supposed to be 30 minutes of introductions and 30 minutes of technical questions based off of my resume. The manager for this position did not look at my resume, but pulled up my linkedin and began with technical questions. All of the questions were in regards to networking and encryption, no other cyber security topics were mentioned. This position is just technical support for a cloud based app. You answer questions in a chat and take help desk questions over the phone from customers. This job title should be "Tech Support" with an emphasis on encryption.
