Velera interview questions

Negative experience. Only apply if you want to feel like you're interviewing with Inspector Gadget. Was told they have been hiring the wrong people for the role since dept was started (20 years ago.) Immediately I got nervous. This means they have to penalize the candidates and make you interview with 16 people. After going through a grueling process for MONTHS, was told an offer was coming. Then came all the suspicions and strange behavior. Wanted to verify my resume with LinkedIn, wanted to talk to references. Said odd things to my references such as "So he DOES work at this company on his resume then?" WHO SAYS THAT?! Was told 1 reference check didnt know my employer dates. I thought this was a character reference, if I knew you didnt trust my resume, I would have directed you to confirm by calling up HR at my prior employer. After I started pushing back and saying "dont employment verifications check all my resume details including dates of employment?" the Inspector Gadget recruiter was speechless. LOW TRUST HIGH SCRUTINY environment!! Stay away
