I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Vectorform (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2020
Interview
An initial phone interview, an in-person interview, and a take-home project. After submitting the project there was another interview/meeting to discuss. Overall a pleasant process. A lot less stress than these white board interviews.

Question 1
Explain why you choose this particular architecture/method to solve this problem.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vectorform (Royal Oak, MI) in Aug 2017
Interview
I had a phone interview with HR followed up with a challenge to complete a demo project and then three separate onsite interviews. I was asked some basic technical questions but nothing too crazy. The interviews were very conversational in nature and it really felt more like a check to see if my personality would mesh with the company. HR made me feel very comfortable and was great throughout the whole process. They were prompt to communicate/answer any questions or concerns that I had.
