A new store was being opened in my area I applied online and got a call a couple weeks later. Had my interview on a Monday with out of town managers and the General Manager. The interview was pretty cool there where a couple odd balls in the group who didn't know anything about the company. Next day I get a call that I'm hired and orientation started in a couple days. Most of the people I thought where cool from my interview group where there as well. There was a good 30 people in orientation. We build the store from the ground up we learned about the company and spread the word about Vans opening up in the mall. It was pretty cool meeting and networking with managers that would come in from around the state to help us open the store. Food for thought.. just be yourself don't put on a persona when being interviewed they can see through it. If you don't know much about the company you are interviewing for, just do a quick search so you don't go in too blind and you show you'd really like to work there.
