I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Upstart (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
The overall process was very pleasant. It started with a good general overview of the company and the process from someone at recruiting. Next was a technical phone screen that focused on coding and SQL. The virtual on-site covered practical examples and previous projects rather than going deep into coding, data structures, and algorithms. Throughout the process Upstart was very open, helpful, and responsive.
