Note: This company is often regarded as one where, if you stay for 3-4 years, you can earn a very good salary and secure a high-level role, according to my seniors. However, my perspective may have changed after reading this review.
I reached out to one of my connections on LinkedIn for a referral, and the HR sent me details about the walk-in interview. The candidates at the interview were a mix of students, some attending pooled campus placements, while others had been invited by the company itself. The entire process lasted from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and those who were selected moved on to the next rounds. There were six rounds in total.
The first two rounds involved coding, and we had to use their own test environment, "Unthinkable," for the coding tests. In the first round, there were three coding questions to be completed in 90 minutes: one easy LeetCode problem and two medium-level problems. If you solved the first question correctly, you moved on to the second round. The second round had one coding question to be solved in 20 minutes, and if you solved it partially, you could proceed to the third round.
The third round was a whiteboard interview with a question of easy to medium difficulty. After that, the process moved to the technical interview rounds, followed by an HR round. The interviewers were somewhat unpredictable; it depended on them whether you would be selected. One of the interviewers even mentioned that their senior had scolded them for advancing "incapable" candidates, so they wouldn’t be sending me forward.
The questions in the interviews focused on SQL, web development, and DSA (Data Structures and Algorithms). If you’re strong in coding and DSA, you can likely ace the interview. However, many students who came out of the interview said they hadn’t done anything wrong but were still rejected. It seemed they were expecting candidates with the skills of someone making a 15 LPA salary but were offering only 5 LPA with a 2-2.5 year bond.
They also sent assignments to all candidates, but when it came time for submission, they stated that those attending the walk-in interview were not allowed to submit the assignments. I’ve heard that none of the 500 candidates in the walk-in interview got selected. Some even speculated that this was just a tactic to attract investors.
In the end, I was rejected, and only 10 candidates were left. I don’t think they hired anyone that day. This happened at the Gurugram branch. Given these practices, I’d recommend avoiding this company.
Pros: The company is located in a prime area, and the office ambiance is great.
